Gary Schaaf received both his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Louisville. He has been practicing law in Kentucky for 27 years, the last 25 of which have been devoted exclusively to helping individuals and family members of those injured or killed by the negligence of others.
Mr. Schaaf is the firm’s managing partner and has been involved in numerous trials, settlements, mediations, and appellate decisions. He has extensive experience litigating all manner of personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those resulting from automobile wrecks, motorcycle and truck accidents, hospital neglect, river injuries, and nursing home abuse.
Mr. Schaaf is past President of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA) and currently serves on KJA’s Board of Governors. He is a longtime member of the American Justice Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, McCracken County Bar Association, Belli Society and Million Dollars Advocates Forum (membership limited to attorneys who have won million and/or multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements).
Gary enjoys spending time away from the office with his wife, Kristi, with whom he also practices law, and their two children. He is an avid waterfowl and upland bird hunter who is always looking for a reason to get outdoors.
