
Gary Schaaf received both his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate degrees from the University of Louisville. He has been practicing law in Kentucky for more than 30 years, with most of his career devoted exclusively to helping individuals and family members of those injured or killed by the negligence of others.
Gary is the firm’s managing partner and has been involved in numerous trials, settlements, mediations, and appellate decisions. He has extensive experience litigating all manner of personal injury and wrongful death claims, including those resulting from automobile wrecks, motorcycle and truck accidents, hospital neglect, river injuries, and nursing home abuse.

Professional Affiliations
Gary is the past President of the Kentucky Justice Association (KJA) and currently serves on KJA’s Board of Governors. He is a longtime member of the American Justice Association, American Bar Association, Kentucky Bar Association, McCracken County Bar Association, Belli Society and Million Dollars Advocates Forum (membership limited to attorneys who have won million and/or multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements).
Outside the Office
Gary enjoys spending time away from the office with his wife, Kristi, with whom he also practices law, and their two children.
He has also been described, in no particular order, as: a working dog lover, avid waterfowl and upland bird hunter, skinny as a kid, off-key singer to classic country and random 80s music, occasionally grouchy, barefoot on summer weekends, fighting for the underdog.
